Quality Technician – Blue Island

QUALITY TECHNICIAN

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Experience using basic metrology measurement, including calipers and micrometers in a metal manufacturing environment
• Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints
• Knowledge of the PPAP/Cert process
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook

TYPICAL DUTIES:

• Performs inspection of finished parts per MO/blueprint
• Performs calibrations of various measurement tools to assure compliance with ISO/AS certifications
• Communicates issues with Production and Engineering personnel regarding product specifications
• Assists with shipping and production support activities
• Performs other duties as assigned

pay range:  $45,000-$55,000 annually
